Engaging in ict@innovation Programme Activities
There are several ways of engaging in ict@innovation and becoming a part of the programme!
If you are interested in Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) for Businesses, you can:
- Take part in one of the ict@innovation FOSS Business Model trainings. To see what courses are taking place and where, see our list of courses.
- Use the ict@innovation FOSS Business Model training materials and online learning services for self-learning.
- Join the FBT-Mailinglist in order to stay up to date on ict@innovation activities in the area of FOSS Business Models and discuss FOSS in Africa with experts across the continent.
If you are interested in FOSS Certification in Africa:
- Look out for ict@innovation LPI trainings and examinations
- Get in touch with our team member Evans Ikua, who is in charge of FOSS Certification at ict@innovation or
- Join our online community to receive news on FOSS Certification in Africa and discuss with other experts, e.g. in our group of FOSS Linux Admin training institutions or group of FOSS Linux Admin Trainers (please login/register to get access to these groups)
- Join the Certification-Mailinglist in order to stay up to date on ict@innovation activities in the area of Linux System Administration and discuss FOSS Certification in Africa with experts across the continent.
We are also looking for:
- Persons or organisations developing innovative African FOSS Applications for social and economic development interested in partnering with
- IT businesses in Africa interested in mentoring interns in the development of FOSS applications.
