Idlelo 4 Conference 2010 - Accra, Ghana

The Free Software and Open Source Foundation for Africa (FOSSFA) is hosting its fourth biennial conference Idlelo 4, 17 – 21 May, in Accra, Ghana. The purpose of Idlelo 4 is to discuss new issues, problems and innovative solutions which are shaping FOSS and related technologies on the African continent.

Conference sessions usually consist of three thirty-minute presentations and submitted papers should be geared towards that length. Idlelo conferences aim to connect IT and FOSS experts from Africa and the wider world in cross-disciplinarian and cross-cultural dialogue and knowledge exchange. Paper and presentation proposals are welcomed from across all disciplines in oder to encourage the broadest possible range of topics. Specific sessions include a government round table, business session, geographical information system, education and mobile application and the Programme Committee welcomes submissions on further topics.

Papers and presentations should be submitted to the Programme Committee via email at secretariat@fossfa.net or via mail, with two paper copies, to Programme Committee, IDLELO 4 Conference, Advanced Information Technology Institute (AITI), Private Mail Bag, State House, Accra, Ghana.
