Late registration opens 1 February
The International Conference on ICT for Africa 2010 (ICIA 2010) will take place from 25 – 28 March in Yaounde, Cameroon under the headline “ICT for Development – Contributions of the South”. The conference aims to explore African contributions to global ICT developments, particularly in the context of ICT and sustainable development, as well as to highlight successful cooperations between African countries and other developing and developed countries in the field of ICT and development. A central theme of the conference is how ICT fuels “South-to-South” and “South-to-North” knowledge exchange. Topics under discussion during ICIA 2010 include the uses of ICT in education, health care, business, poverty alleviation and sustainability in the Sub-Saharan context.
ICIA 2010 will take place from 25 – 28 March in the Djeuga Palace Hotel, Yaounde, Cameroon and is supported by various international sponsors such as the National Science Foundation, NASA and the Louisiana Board of Regents.
