Free your IT Business in Africa
FOSS technologies offer opportunities particularly for small and medium sized IT enterprises to provide IT services for local IT markets. Many IT-SME are not yet aware of how they can use FOSS in their business models – knowledge sharing and training is needed to qualify employees. Offering training to small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and enabling them to create FOSS business models is a key to stimulate innovative local IT business.

Its been a very hot entry into 2012, from Kampala, and the heat could not have been multiplied by the excitement that comes with knowing Africa's premier FOSS gathering - IDLELO - is round the corner.
Its a great time, as my last experience ushered me into the world of Linux and FOSS on the continent, paving the way for what has now become my life and bread - Linux Systems Administration, Training, and Advocacy.
